Hello, usually the first teeth come through around the 6th month, but there are also exceptions, the tooth will come through around the 3rd-4th month, but also around one year, each child is individual. If your daughter does not have the first tooth before the age of 1, it would be advisable for you to visit the dentist and talk to them directly.

Hello, I have a 10-day-old son and I noticed that his breast is swollen, it’s not red. What could it be?
08/06/20 14:29
Hello, your son's swollen breast is most likely caused by the effects of oestrogens obtained from the mother (from you) that are still present. Simply observe it, it usually subsides over time.

Hello, I have a question, I have a 13-month-old son, he sits on the potty, but only when dressed, as soon as I undress him, he refuses to sit on the potty, when I want to sit him there, he cries and arches his back so its like a bow. How should I explain to him that he should sit down and try to wee? A friend’s 13-month-old daughter sits down and wees without any fuss whatsoever.

Hello, I don't think you should force a 13-month-old son to sit on a potty if he doesn't want to. He still has enough time, a child is able to realize the need to go to the toilet at around the age of 18 months. Of course, you can leave the potty in sight, if he wants to, he will sit on it. In time, someone can show him what it is used for, such as an older child from one of your friends who already sits on the potty alone. Then he may want to try it too. But be sure not to force him, it is possible that you could create a mental block for the potty, which is then very difficult to get rid of. Furthermore, if possible, try not to compare, every child is different, moreover, some girls may acquire certain skills faster than boys of the same age, but this may not always be the case.

Hello, I have a 5-month-old daughter and I want to start with vegetable baby food, so far I am only breastfeeding. I’d like to ask when can I replace 1 breastfeed with this food, without having to breastfeed to make up?
08/06/20 14:25
Hello, you can start with vegetable baby food after your daughter's 6th month, if you only breastfeed. If you feel that your daughter is hungry and wants to be breastfed more often than before, or has started to wake up more at night to breastfeed, or weighs more than 6 kg, you can start giving her baby food now, upon agreement with your daughter’s pediatrician Most often it starts with one type of vegetable, which we serve for 3 days, then we try another type of vegetable. You can start with pumpkin or carrots, for example, and then gradually add other types such as potatoes, courgette, broccoli, spinach, etc. On the 1st day, add 3 teaspoons of a single-veg puree, and then breastfeed as the child demands. On the 2nd day, increase the amount by another 3-4 teaspoons and breastfeed again. On the 3rd day you can again increase the amount of food and breastfeed as the child demands. The next day you can try another type of vegetable. When your daughter eats at least half a jar of baby food (if you are going to give her bought food) - that is about 62.5 g (a whole jar is 125 g) - then only give her boiled and cooled down baby water with the food and do not breastfeed. The next breastfeed should be at least 2 hours after baby food, if possible.
