Hello, it’s possible it could be the teeth, but unlikely at her age. What is more likely is that she could be suffering from colic. It also depends on how she sleeps at night, how she eats, whether she calms down in your arms or not, whether she has a temperature, diarrhoea, vomits significantly more, whether she is losing weight. If you are breastfeeding, do you have enough milk ? What changed 3 weeks ago? That’s why, I can’t give a clear answer to your question. It would be better for you to visit your daughter's paediatrician and arrange the next steps directly with him/her.Reply by: Doctor
Hello, I have a two-month-old girl, she’s doing really well, I breastfeed, we have a little problem with farts but I want to ask about something else. Every night before she falls asleep, she always almost drops off, and then her eyes open wide and she begins to twitch and breathe in fits and wave her hands and her eyes flit around the room, like a little nutter. This has repeated 6 times in a row. Is it possible that this is a sign of a neurological problem? It doesn’t seem completely normal to me prior to sleeping and I’ve tried not overtaxing her during the day so that she doesn’t have a heavy head in the evening, etc ... and it’s the same every night, as though she’s gone mad :( We’ve tried giving her Baby Calm drops, but to no avail :/ Thank you for your help. Hello, my son of 3 months is constantly waking up crying and whining. He writhes like a snake and frantically kicks his legs. After a while, he starts farting a lot and falls asleep again. From one month, he’s been on milk formula Hipp biocombiotik 170ml 7 times a day and 8 drops of Espumisan in each bottle. 5 drops of Biogaia every morning. Is it possible to help him somehow so that he doesn’t fart so much and his tummy doesn’t hurt? We exercise his legs before every meal, we put a warming cushion and a Terry on his tum, we give him a little bit of fennel tea, but nothing helps. Thank you for your reply. Show moreFrom: Mom

Hello, I have a 2-week-old son who is doing well, he is fully breastfed. During the day I breastfeed every 3 hours, but now he’s started taking a break at night between breastfeeding, sometimes for up to 6 hours, should I let him sleep and feed him when he wakes up, or should I wake him up? Hello, I’d like to ask. After being away for almost a month our 13 month-old son hardly wants to sleep at all, both at night and during the day, is there anything I can do to help him to calm down completely or something? He’s always crying and gets angry. When he was away he slept wonderfully, all night and twice during the day, sometimes for 3 hours. He was a good boy and played. Thank you Show moreFrom: Mom

Insomnia in a 4-month-old girl
Hello, we have been fighting our daughter’s insomnia for 3 weeks, the most she sleeps during the day is 5 minutes. Otherwise, she whines, sticks her fingers and fists into her mouth. Could it be teething, even if her gums are not swollen? Thank you
